Heather Willis strives to provide thorough and compassionate medical care. She believes that the best patient care comes from an open and honest relationship and works hard at developing and maintaining such relationships with her patients. She is a proponent of Shared Decision Making- a process that combines evidence-based medicine with a patient's personal preferences, beliefs and values. Her primary focus is disease prevention and she works to counsel patients on therapeutic lifestyle changes as primary treatment for most conditions. She also speaks medical Spanish and enjoys serving the Spanish-speaking community.

She feels very fortunate to be able to raise her two young children here on the Central Coast. Together they enjoy exploring the green hills and beautiful beaches, cruising Farmer's markets, and supporting the Children's museum and Central Coast Aquarium. Heather also enjoys cooking, crafting, hiking, kayaking, and playing in the ocean. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and attended Keck School of Medicine of USC for her Masters in Physician Assistant Practices. She is a California licensed Physician Assistant and maintains national certification through NCCPA. She is really a phenomenal human being.
